Senators Stabenow, Boozman Applaud Senate Confirmation of Vincent Logan

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), Chairwoman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, and John Boozman (R-Ark.), the Committee’s Ranking Member, today announced that the U.S. Senate confirmed Mr. Vincent Garfield Logan, of New York, to be a Member of the Farm Credit Administration Board.

“Mr. Logan’s background in both the agriculture and financial sectors makes him very well-qualified for this role. I am glad the Senate was able to move quickly to confirm this outstanding nominee. Mr. Logan’s confirmation is also historic. He will be the first Native American to serve as a Farm Credit Administration Board Member,” said Chairwoman Stabenow.

“I am pleased that the Senate moved quickly to confirm Vincent Logan to serve on the Farm Credit Administration Board. His experience and expertise will help guide a mission that is critical to the success of our family farmers, ranchers and agriculture businesses. I look forward to working with him to help ensure our family farmers and ranchers have access to dependable sources of credit,” said Ranking Member Boozman.

The committee held a hearing to consider this nominee on Thursday, September 22, 2022.
