Conservation Security Program
"CSP" Conservation Security Program — provides payments for producers who historically have practiced good stewardship on their agricultural lands, and adds incentives for those who want to do more.

2006 Conservation Security Program (CSP) sign-up was held from late February through late April in 60 watersheds nationwide, responding to Senate Ag Committee leaders urging that 2006 enrollment dates be set within weeks to encourage more farmer/rancher participation.
